Gilles Calliet ancien membre de l’équipe de France de Kayak et plusieurs fois médaillé entre 1993 et 1998, remet à l’eau son kayak sur la Loire qui l’a vu grandir et sur laquelle il a connu ces premières sensations de glisse.
Le film, sous forme de portrait, nous livre le regard de ce champion qui a appris par la pratique de son sport à regarder l’eau qui coule sous son kayak.
En guise de conclusion, aujourd’hui il se questionne sur l’importance de l’eau, et comment elle est répartie sur notre planète.
Pour approfondir cette réflexion, Gilles Calliet et Pas sage d’images souhaitent recueillir le témoignage de tout ces sportifs qui utilisent l’eau comme terrain de jeu et se préoccupent de l’importance de la protéger. Pour ceci nous avons crée Le cri de l’eau, ou nous vous invitons sur Facebook.
L’approche par le sport des enjeux climatiques nous parait importante, à quelques mois de la COP21, elle peut permettre aux sportifs de témoigner en écho aux discours scientifiques.
Cet appel «Le cri de l'eau» peut être décliné sous plusieurs formes audiovisuelles (court métrage, documentaire, clip, micro trottoir, reportage,..., etc…). Nous avons des idées à vous proposer.

L’AVENIR DE L’EAU d’Erik Orsenna
An athlete in his mind, as long as there will be water.
Gilles Calliet is associating with Pas Sage D’images, an audiovisual production agency, to share with us a short, titled “Des images dans la tête - tant qu’il y aura de l’eau” (An image in the mind – As long as there will be water).
Gilles Calliet, a previously medaled athlete of France’s kayak team between 1993 and 1998, is taking his kayak to the waters of the Loire, the river that has seen him grow and gave him his first gliding sensations.
The short, in the form of a portrait, delivers the view of this champion who learned through practicing his sport to look at the water gliding under his kayak.
In conclusion, today he is questioning himself on the importance of water and how it is spread out on our planet.
To go deeper in this reflection, Gille Calliet and Pas Sage D’images hope to gather testimonies of all the watersport lovers that use waters as a playground and understand the importance of preserving them. For this, we have created “Le cri de l’eau” that you can join on Facebook.
The approach to climatic stakes through sport is important to us, especially a few months before COP21; it can help watersports lovers to echo what scientists are telling us.
This calling, “Le cri de l’eau ” can be shown through audiovisual means (Short, documentary, clips and reporting etc..) and we have ideas to propose.
